Convert news paper cutting into text using Google photos

Google Photos

If you find a topic that is very interesting in the newspaper, do you have to copy the text and send it to your friends? One of the techniques that will help in this is OCR (optical charector recognition).
We have a lot of apps, but we have not installed anything. We have Google Photos on our mobile because we do not have to install specially. We have Google Photos in our mobile device already, we can copy from the piece of paper and paste wherever you want. It is a very simple case.

Lets see how to do it.

  • First let's take a photo of a normal piece of paper cutting that separates the letters.
  • Open Google Photos on your mobile device.
  • There we will see the picture we have taken now in the section 'Photos', and we can see four icon under the photo which we taken.
  • Select the third one. The Internet connection should be turned on unless it will be shown as 'try again'.
  • After activating the Net Connection, when you press on the third icon,  you can see some animations above the photo are blinking.
  • Then you will see the suggested sessions associated with the text in the picture via Google Lens and the 'TEXT SELECTION' on the right.
  • Click on 'TEXT SELECTION'. Now you can see the letters in the photo are copied in ways that are typed. Now you can select all the text and paste wherever you want.

This is helpful for people who are reluctant to share the valuable information found on paper cutting.
